ASOLO - The Village of a hundred orizons
Giosuè Carducci called ASOLO the city of a hundred horizons. Lying on gentle hills, Asolo has always enchanted Italian and European poets and writers, actresses, noblewomen and painters. Our itinerary will take you to discover the historic center counted among the most beautiful villages in Italy. Walking immersed in the atmosphere and silence of other times, between palaces and ancient stone houses we will retrace the places dear to the actress Eleonora Duse and the writer Freya Stark who lived and are buried here and we will discover the "sweet slow rhythm of living while inolando", described by the famous poet Robert Browing.
